چکیده
Membranes with zeolites are encouraging for performing blood dialysis because can eliminate uremic toxins through molecular sieving. Although the addition of various pore-gen and adsorbent in membrane certainly impact production along creatinine adsorption, however, it is not directed which zeolite leads to better performance. The research was aimed at reducing adsorption protein-bound by using mordenite as an while polyethylene glycol cellulose acetate a pore generating agent. were cast phase-inversion technique cheap easy handle compared electro-spinning technique. Through this strategy, ability adsorb solute rejection percentage measured against pristine PSU, when only PEG used pore-modifier CA different concentration zeolite. experiments revealed that membranes give (93%) but low capacity 7654 ?g/g bio-compatibility (PRT 392 s, HR 0.46%). Advances in Polysulfone-Based Membranes for Hemodialysis
The polysulfone-based membrane has been used in hemodialysis (HD) and it is continuously developed to maintain its sustainability on the subject of biocompatibility. During the polysulfone-based membrane development, several parameters should be considered to improve the membrane performances, such as excellent biocompatibility, appropriate ultrafiltration rate, and effective clearance of the t...
متن کاملComparing the Effect of Simple Filtration Hemodialysis and Ultrafiltration Hemodialysis on Arterial Oxygen Saturation and Blood Pressure in Chronic Dialysis
Background and purpose: Hypoxemia and hypotension are important complications of hemodialysis in patients with chronic renal failure that are linked to several factors, including the type of filters used. The aim of this study was to compare the effect of simple filtration hemodialysis and ultrafiltration hemodialysis on blood pressure and blood arterial oxygen level. Materials and methods: In...
متن کاملUltrafiltration through Collodion Membranes
It is obvious that the factors considered in this paper render data obtained by ultrafiltration open to criticism unless they are checked by other methods and precautions are taken for the elimination of the vitiating effects which have been described. As regards the mechanism of ultrafiltration, the view of a sieve-like action as most experimental evidence indicates, is adequate, if all the fa...

Although there have been no significant studies of the effects of different coupling chemistries, spacer arm length, or the nature of the functional group on the performance of ultrafiltration membranes, there is an extensive literature on these parameters in the field of chromatography. An optimal spacer arm ensures that the functional groups are placed a suitable distance from the surface of ...
